This rug looks exactly like the picture. I don't like how much water this rug can hold when it rains. Also, I've really loved it for the past few weeks. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew it held water.

By the way, this rug goes really well with the Richloom Balmoral Opal indoor/outdoor fabric, also from Revain. I have a carpet in the next room. I used two other matching Richloom colors in Opal Turquoise and Green for the cushions and upholstery on the chair seats.

The carpet is very thin which is fine for our purposes but some may not like it. Not very soft, but that's to be expected for a doormat. It took several weeks to fully level, even with heavy objects in the corners. I have not noticed any odor that is sometimes present with rugs purchased online.

I really liked the design of this rug and the bright colors - it suits her image. However, the chemical smell from the carpet was unbearable. I had it loosely rolled for a month and it was still smoking. Maybe because it's an indoor/outdoor rug, they had to treat it with harsh and toxic chemicals? Too bad - I wanted it for indoor use but couldn't because of the smell. I'm sure it would be suitable for outdoor use.

After reading some negative reviews I was a bit hesitant to buy this rug. It turns out to be completely unfounded. This rug is exactly what I needed and wanted for my Florida room. I got a lot of positive feedback on how good it looks. It's easy to clean and holds up very well to a lot of use (we practically live in this room). Also suppresses echoes generated by concrete walls and tile floors. I recommend it!

The smell is just HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I know it says to put it in a well ventilated area or outside... but since it's cold outside when I got it I didn't want to lug it through the living room and onto the back patio. Put it in the guest room with the fan on. I've bought a few rugs in my time, but they've never smelled like this. I just hope to get rid of that smell. My hands smelled just by touching it. I will no longer order rugs from Revain. :(

I was actually hoping to use it to decorate my patio style home office and as a chair pad. Nothing fancy just cropped edges but I like the colors and the 5x5 size suited my space well. However, I still couldn't just roll my chair on it, so I added a glass chair mat as well. This combination works well. I could probably just get a chair rug, but I still love the way this rug looks and not just an old wall-to-wall blue rug. We may rip this rug this spring but I think if we do we can either still…
