Excellent watercolor paper. The paper is absorbent, a good size and not flimsy. The newspaper also highlighted the work because it was non-traditional and gave the work a real Asian twist.

In general I am satisfied with this paper. It's quite large and sits on the thicker side of the rice paper, so good for big letters. However, the quality doesn't really seem outstanding to me and I will order rice paper from other suppliers in the future.

I wish I had listened to the reviews before mine. It was a hot mess of folds and folds. Luckily I wanted to try mixed media rather than calligraphy - I can work with creases. I'm pretty sure I couldn't write or draw on it without trying to lay it flat first. A particle board in the bag would go a long way in keeping it functional.

Contrary to the product image which showed it folded and intact, the paper I received came in a flat pack with no protection on the ends or corners. Half (actually 30 of the 51 pages I received) the paper came in a full-length (flat) wrapper. The remaining 21 pages were roughly folded in half and placed in a bag. All sides are creased and creased at the ends. It's so crumpled and intricate that I can't even recover enough to use it with the ends trimmed. I am very disappointed in this product…
