Bought 5 stainless steel wood carving tools. The package just arrived, open it, it looks like the tools have been used, it is listed as new. There is dry clay on one of my boxed tools. Another tool has a deformed tip. The tools came in the original packaging. But they fixed it quickly and I'm happy with the result.

Very good tool but the tip is so thin and the metal bends easily that despite excellent packaging and delivery it was actually bent at the tip. I've bent it with my fingertips with incredible ease, and I'm concerned about how it will hold up in actual use. Luckily, I'm the only one who will be using these tools, so I'll be mindful of the softness of one of them as I work.

Purchased for clay sculpting and when I used plasticine clay the metal left a black residue on my clay and fingers which I don't think would happen with stainless steel. I've used other stainless steel tools that weren't stained with clay, which leads me to question the metal material. I can't use if I don't want to color my clay.
