You must have an Ubuntu capable PC

When I bought this thing I didn't realize that you MUST have an Ubuntu companion computer to use this thing. Absolutely no operating system or software is included. In fact, you also have to buy an SD card and preload it yourself, just like on a Raspberry Pi. Unfortunately, it's not as easy as on the Pi. The Ubuntu machine you connect it to can't be a virtual machine and of any kind Reason not to be on an ARM architecture. And you need a GUI with a monitor to do all of that. Note that this does

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

This little thing is a beast.

Overall I like Agx Xiavier much better because it allows me to work as if I was working on a regular desktop. Nano is too slow and even has trouble launching VScode. I had a bad charge on my first purchase. It starts but crashes while idling. A system log message points to "oops kernel". After browsing the NVIDIA forums, I was sure I'd gotten a lemon. In addition to the crash issue, the fan occasionally makes a "click". I'm not sure at first if this is typical for PWM fans, but after a second…

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad

Amazing device! (For developers only)

This device has a lot of potential! This is the current state of Linux ARM64 in all its glory. things won't work. But what works is amazing, I can't believe this device is 30w! "Cool" mode with great performance. – Sean Hamene

Great investment but you have to know what you're doing

I have a Jetson Nano, an NX Xavier and this machine and I think it's by far the best and its relatively high price is justified. But you have to use a relay and you definitely need software experience. If you have this, then feel free to ignore some of the negative reviews found here.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Good machine but a little lacking.

First, I have several Jetson products. I have a couple of Nanos and they are great for the price, but since I'm using Python and Tensorflow it takes up a lot of RAM and runs a lot of processes (duplicates RAM usage). I'm not sure what's going on, but it's a Tensorflow issue, not an Nvidia issue. I bought this device to run many AI models in parallel and due to memory issues, I needed a lot of RAM. If you're short on memory and don't train models with a device, choose one of the cheaper Jetsons.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Great development kit for this Jetson GPU

It's kind of stupid to even have reviews for these Jetson products. This is the Nvidia Jetson. Excellent stuff. It is what it is. If you're not an engineer and don't know what it's for, don't buy it! The negative reviews for these products are hysterical. Nvidia did a great job developing this hardware, it comes with solid examples and support, I'm interested in hardware systems not software and so far I've gotten it to work without any issues and have been able to build and test their examples

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Seniors

Actual Price - Minis

The price of this item is $699. Don't overpay for it as some companies bought it at this price and are now trying to make a profit!

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Without Insurance

Jetson not working

I bought an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier dev kit to use for PyTorch codes. Jetson Xavier should be a powerful GPU, but it didn't work for me with PyTorch. With Pytorch, only the CPU acts as a device, not the GPU. If you're buying this device for its GPU capabilities, as advertised by Nvidia, then I'd say it's a waste of money and time.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

He looks at me

After a few months of isolation I bought this device as a replacement for a friend to exercise. As soon as the appropriate technical solutions were applied, it woke up and looked at me. I asked him what he saw and the first thing he said was "a prison, a prison house".

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Almost everything ok
