I doubted the belt would help with my terrible pain but it did! I was in excruciating pain, could barely walk and stand for about 30 seconds, and could do most of the things I could do before. I can stand and walk longer, sit up straight, hold my daughter in my arms. I shoot at night and keep it during the day. Not uncomfortable over clothing and you can slip a shirt over it to cover it up when you go out.

I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and my physical therapy book recommends wearing one of these support belts for my frequent SIJ publications. It is especially useful to wear when you are in the car or driving, as well as on long walks. I immediately noticed a positive difference in motor skills and pain levels. The downside is that it gets hot and sweaty, leaving folds in the lower abdomen where the bandage is placed. Also, be sure to lay it out strategically if you don't want to rewind every time

I am giving 4 stars (not 5) for the cons listed below. But I have to stay, I'm completely stunned that this works. As someone with severe arthritis and spinal stenosis, I was increasingly plagued by joint pain.
