The micro USB connector is so weak my 11 year old son bent it with his fingers when taking it out of the box. And of course the cable didn't work when he tried to use it. Could this be the only defective cable with an aluminum foil thick connector? Sure, but why even bother? The end of the mini USB cable is so absurdly long compared to the original Xbox One cable that it doesn't even come close to fitting into my controller. It's completely ridiculous that the company could ruin a standard-sized USB cable. If you were thinking of buying it to use with a third party controller, just tick that box now as it probably won't fit. Terrible product.

I am very happy with it. (I'd give it 4 1/2 stars if that was an option.) The only issue I had was very minor: when I started using it on battery for gaming and charging, it incorrectly said that it was fully charged ( white icon) the moment I plugged it in, although the battery was far from fully charged. Our second and third cables from the Microsoft Xbox One Play & Charge Kit wear out due to the extra stress the cylinder puts on the first few inches after the micro USB connection exercises . This Nyko cable doesn't have that, but it's pretty loose in all three of my family's old Microsoft model 1537 wireless controllers (pre-Xbox One S) and even loses connection a couple of times while gaming! (Hopefully the connector on the Nyko Power Pak fits better, but I don't plan to try it anytime soon.)
