Mislisted Laboratory Instruments and Equipment

I was looking for a salt water salt tester for my pool, this one appeared among all the testers I bought, he realized this is not a salt tester, this is a pH tester, why did you guys add it to the salt testers so I wasted my money

Pros
  • Laboratory and Scientific Products
Cons
  • Out of fashion

No backlight screen, hard to see

Product as described I didn't realize that the screen doesn't support a backlight. Which helps to read the display. The end uses are mixes and mixes for hydroponic tanks. The meter reads RO at 0 microsiemens. Soften reading WW 860ppm. Waiting for a calibration solution to see if the meter is worth keeping. Bought as "used" from Revain. Will be updated if necessary.

Pros
  • Laboratory instruments and equipment
Cons
  • Something else

This is a replacement.

I use this to check the salinity in my pool. The original started giving me "zero" readings and I couldn't calibrate it. After talking to Octon, they realized it had failed. I contacted Revain and this device was replaced with a new one. I was able to calibrate it and make sure the reading matched my chlorinator reading and the pool reservoir water test. Practically no problem. I had to send the original back.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Don't remember
