The item delivered does not match the one shown.

Advertisement shows double and single handle closure. 2 separate valves were delivered which do not work in my application. I have asked them to send the correct valve but Amazon's process does not allow for the same advertised product to be selected. I could have bought what they sent locally for less money.

Great product: socket boxes

I don't know what could be better than this product, it's sturdy and well made. The valve is designed for copper pipe and CPVC pipe that my house is connected to. For copper people the valve snaps or slides away easily and 2 nuts hold the valves to the base. Take them out and the brass is plastic free. The box I took out is going to the landfill where it belongs. I highly recommend

Don't sweat if you don't sweat.

It LOOKS great, and in theory it is. However, it CANNOT "sweat" as stated in the description or on the box without suffering damage. No irresistible damage, but still damage. Here's why: Your single valve assembly is pre-assembled on a plastic (polystyrene) base plate. Coming to the problem here: if you apply enough heat to the fitting to sweat through the hinge, the plastic base will melt. If you have all of this preinstalled in the wall, chances are the box itself will catch fire. Don't…
