The battery died in a 2017 Jetta. replaced, but the airbag caught fire. That fixed it

As the title suggests, if you have a dead battery in your VW it's not that easy to get a new one. You have to reset everything (in my case the airbag display) to get out. This device helped. and very easy to use. Worth the price. As the machine ages I will run it from time to time to diagnose before paying for repairs.

The perfect tool for the job!

This tool does exactly what it promises. This will reset EPB on Audi/VW vehicles, which is what I had to do. A simple user screen makes operation very quick and easy. To make the most of it, I downloaded the latest update for it from the website. Instructions on how to do this are included. You will need to use a file extractor such as WinZip to unzip the downloaded compressed file. It's easy to make and a great deal for the DIY enthusiast!

The update blocked the device; now it doesn't work at all

When I got this I connected it to my Audi to turn off the airbag light. It seemed to be working fine and connected to the car, but when trying to read airbag trouble codes it failed to connect and gave an error message. I've tried multiple times, turning the power on and off, unplugging the scanner and plugging it back in, etc. I saw in the manual that you can download software updates so I decided to try that to see if that solves the problem.
