Doesn't work - bearings and seals

I didn't pull the seal out, a waste of money. Now I have to buy another instrument and hopefully I can make it NEXT weekend. I used the tool as intended and it failed.

Pros
  • understandable for the old ones
Cons
  • annoys me

Get the parting tool

I read other reviews and used longer screws than the ones in the kit. Still not enough to remove the seal. I'll buy another set of tools that includes a seal breaker to get it out.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Works very well on two "N54 " 335i

This tool is very good for removing the old gasket and installing a new one. Just buy some extra sheet metal screws from the hardware store, I didn't even try to use the ones that came with them. The set is better than I expected. I have used this on 07 335i "n54" and 08 335i "n54".

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Zero

Gasket remover part not effective

No instructions, tools appear to have been used as the storage bin locking tab is broken. The ad also did not show that the car was being used. the screws are not suitable for drilling into the seal as this is partly made of metal. Also, the ad didn't say you needed the drill bit I had, it said separately.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Damaged

Don't waste your money

Seal cannot be removed. Then I dropped it and it broke. The casting was probably bad because the edges of the puller were already broken. Don't waste money on it. I used an expensive proprietary tool that I previously borrowed for the same job and it worked fine. I think the quality assurance is questionable for this cheaper tool, so a godsend.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Updates

DO NOT use screws but otherwise a great set.

Ok. This product really works. I used it to seal the crank of my 09 N54. I originally thought getting the gasket out wouldn't work because it didn't work the first time, but this kit came with screws. Just don't use them. Seriously, not a good idea. Get sturdier, similar screws like Home Depot. It works well with a variety of bolts and installing the new crank seal was easy. Worked great.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I'll write later

So I asked myself a lot of questions before buying this tool, is it the right one, well it's definitely the cheapest. back and forth. Then I completed the purchase. Then I got it. It sucked, the screws wouldn't hold and I thought it was a waste of time/money. Also, the metal it is made of is quite brittle as the flange breaks fairly easily. Removing didn't help. But then I found a tapered version of the removal tool without screws. I found it on fcp euro for $70. I bought it, it worked and I…

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some little things
