Doesn't work as advertised

This is a beautiful phone. The materials are cheap, and if you plan to spend LOTS of days getting it to work, OBi phones are ok. I had an OBi 2182 and have had several OBi 100 and 200. Threw it away 4 days after delivery and will never buy another product from them. - DNS problem - Firmware problem - Don't waste time trying to get Google Voice working - There is no support Polycom (OBIHAI) Deliver a product that the end user can use. Look at what Apple, Google, Ecobee and many others have doneโ€ฆ

GREAT speakerphone!

I've used the Obi202 with Google Voice for years with a non-VOIP AT&T desktop speakerphone and it's been great. For reasons unrelated to Obi, I was looking for a new desk phone. I tried five different phones including models from Panasonic, AT&T and VTech. I tested and recorded each speakerphone the same way it sounded at the receiver end. Each of the new phones has been a notable downgrade. VTech was worst, Panasonic was almost worst, AT&T was better, but nowhere near the sound I got from theโ€ฆ

2 year VoIP update

I've been using this phone in my home office for about two years and it's working great for me. I only used it with an internet connection and used both Google Voice and Anveo. I mainly use it as a speakerphone. The sound quality is excellent. The brightness of the red on the mute button was just right. The people on the other end of the phone line never had any issues with the quality or volume of my connection. When I first got this phone I was amazed at how easily it magically worked onceโ€ฆ

Outstanding performance - great price

Bought. I then bought three more after looking at the first one. I've been a customer of Obihai for many years. I have three 202s (great if you want to use your existing analog phones) and one 200, so the programming interface is familiar to me. In my case, all I had to do was add these four devices to the same Opitalk screen that I've been using for years. Also, I had no trouble adding multiple Google Voice numbers to each desktop. And each desktop set's firmware was automatically updated once

Great device; 4.5 stars if I could

The hardware on the phone is just fantastic. Great sound quality, great phone, lots of options. Works with USB headsets! However, remember that this is a corporate phone and if you really want to use its capabilities, you'll have to dig pretty deep into the "expert" configuration, where there can be hundreds of options. set/overwrite. It takes some time and fiddling to get it right. Now a few questions - errors. There are a few odd bugs here and there (e.g. with XMPP/Jabber), and some softkeyโ€ฆ

computer phone? Best in Phones & Accessories

--- Update 08/24/18 Okay, the good news is that it works. The sound is about right. It's nowhere near the quality of Skype or FaceTime, but acceptable. So far, the Google Voice integration works flawlessly. However, we have three main problems: 1- The sound quality is NOT acceptable when using a regular headset plugged into the jack on the right. There is a lot of background noise, crackling,. Not very comfortable. 2- The call sometimes starts slowly. I have no idea if the problem is related to

Difficult to set up, virtually nonfunctional BlueTooth

The build quality of the phone is good, mostly comparable to other Polycom products but not on par with the Cisco VoIP phone line. Voice quality is also pretty much on par with other Polycom phones I've used, but once again falls short of Cisco. I bought the phone specifically to use with Google Voice. However, the initial setup was complicated by having to go to the Obihai infrastructure first, where the DNS server seems to play a role. Initially, my DHCP server provided one of the Googleโ€ฆ
