Great for adding USB and HDMI to a retro arcade set

and it was a hassle to Connect/disable USB and HDMI on Raspberry Pi every time you use it. This allows me to flush mount an external HDMI and USB port on the back of the unit for easy connection. I also bought external USB3 front panel USB ports which are covered separately.

Get what you paid for

Not sure I have a stain or something else, but it doesn't work at all. I needed an extension cord for my Samsung Odyssey Plus VR headset and when I used this extension cord my computer didn't notice the headset was plugged in. Tried different ports, restarted, even tried drivers. Nothing works. So now I have this useless cable and my playback for my VR headset is still limited by the length of the headset cable. Not at all happy with it.

Perfect for Oculus Rift!

I use this to place the ports for my Rift on the front of my desk to relieve the pressure from the ports on my PC and give me another foot or two movement. A word of warning, if you go for the 6ft version you might run into issues where the USB port is a bit unreliable, at least at full speed. It's not the cable's fault as USB 3 has a relatively short maximum cable length and the six foot extension plus Rift cable length really exceeds that limit. I've often had trouble troubleshooting. Afterโ€ฆ

I have an Atari Fight joystick with the Rasberry Pi built in and I had to plug and unplug the USB and HDMI on the Raspberry Pi every time. you use it This allows me to flush mount an external HDMI and USB port on the back of the unit for easy connection. I also bought external USB3 USB connectors for the flush front panel, which are covered separately.

Great solution for a JVC or Kenwood head unit.

Was looking for an elegant solution for a JVC KW-Z1000 main unit. It has one (1) USB output (ugh!) and 1 HDMI input. This product is an elegant solution for USB used for media (not charging) and HDMI for Roku. The device fits the factory (switchable) location in the 1st generation Sequoia, but is a bit cumbersome. Pull out. Another annoyance was that the HDMI connector for the JVC main unit was too big, so I had to use an extension cord as an easy fix. But now I have an elegant solution forโ€ฆ
