No complaints other than I should have ordered a longer length. Works great on small cars, but works a little on big trucks and SUVs depending on what I'm diagnosing. For example, check the suspension control module circuit.

These probes are easy to use. Retractable test leads are ideal for storage. I HATE untangling cords of any kind. In addition, the product is much larger in real life than it appears in the photos. Very happy with my purchase.

I have some single wire alligator clips to test but they are usually in a jumbled mess. Most of the time I've found I only use three wires for typical testing purposes. These lines are easy to stretch to the length you want, stay together and easily pull out when you're done.

1. The green wire had continuity "0.2". It could only be rewound 1.5' all twisted inside. The useless casing ripped, the wires wound inside themselves, and the button holding the wires in the back resulted in the green output breaking inside the sleeve. DO NOT SPEND YOUR $$$$, just buy naked leads and don't worry

The retractable spool broke on the first day, about the fifth time I rewound it. She got stuck in it and after ten minutes of trying to free her I gave up and just broke the black plastic spool. The wires themselves are good and the clips are as expected. Now I only have three separate cables, but that's ok.

Crashed on first use in an 18V environment When attempting to power a motorcycle battery, both connected cables broke off after overheating in just a few seconds. The separated wires then showed excess plastic leading to excessive resistance and poor contact, which explains why they had absorbed and pulled too much heat. without alligator clips.

These retractable probes offer excellent value for money. time and frustration that I avoid them. The case is expensive plastic, seems quite thick and sturdy, and this little tool makes it a lot easier to check for continuity and troubleshoot electrical issues. I just wish I had bought this thing sooner. One note: this isn't auto rewind, you actually have to rotate part of the case to pull the wires into the case, which is great as I don't have to worry about the retractable strap breaking. All

Arrived with some of the wires tangled in it so it took about 5-10 minutes to work them clean and to unravel. After that, I was able to toggle on and off many times with no issues. You can remove the rivet holding them together and add a screw so you can access the inside if they are twisted again. I think that's -1 star.
