IMPORTANT NOTICE. Do not screw on the mini ball head too tight. This stand is really good, it's a cheap ball head that gives me a headache. The ball head has I'm not sure what the technical term for such a bolt is, but let's call it "double bolt". A 1/4 screw threads into a larger screw, 1/2 I believe. I already have the original Octopad which fits easily in my Nikon D5300 with most of my lenses. My main photographer is the Nikon D500, which is too big and heavy for it.
