🧶 Unique Yarn Crafts: Innovative Projects for Excess Yarn Review

There are a few projects I would do but nothing special. I like old books like this because of the basic templates that I can customize since I've been doing this for years.

There are some cute projects in this book. I especially like the instructions for the handkerchief. I made a striped rugby scarf out of plain fabrics and different threads. I also like the amulet bag pattern. Nice variety of projects with a small amount of yarn.

I ordered this book on purpose because other reviews said it was more than just "how" to managing your cache. I was pleasantly surprised to find many amazing patterns and many ideas that pushed me to be creative. While this may not be for all knitters, if you are a serious knitter this will make a great addition to your library.

Great resource for using leftover yarn creatively. Easy to follow instructions, photos for each project. There are projects of varying complexity. Well organized format. Great introductory section on knitting, terminology, tips for organizing yarn stash. Lots of helpful tips including matching colors, variegated yarns and yarn styles. Made a diagonal scarf as a gift and the instructions were easy to follow.

This book has been on my wish list for a while because the reviews made me decide whether or not to buy it. What won me over were the reviews saying it was a good resource full of useful information and inspiration. So I finally got it and I love it. It has a lot of great information on how to calculate how much yarn you have on the skein where you lost the wrap. And there is good inspiration.
