This specific towbar for Jeep JL is well designed and has great workmanship. I have 2 of these installed on 2 different Jeep JLs. Fits too loosely on Jeep frame. The hitch needs to be bolted down before this thing is even remotely secure. This appears to be a serious design flaw. I don't understand why the tolerances are so wide? After I ordered I found out that other hitches have nuts welded onto the front of the hitch so it can be installed without removing the bumper. This hitch supplies washers and nylon nuts. How can you go wrong for $35! Easy to install without removing anything. Start by turning all the bolts without putting the washers/nuts on. The bolts are a bit difficult to tighten due to their length as they catch in the muffler body. But just keep going and they will pass. I bought this hitch for my 2019 Jeep Wrangler to use with a Yakima bike rack. Unfortunately, because the receiver isn't long enough (it ends about 2 inches past the back edge of my bumper), my Yakima bike rack can't be installed without removing the spare tire. When I installed it there was a quarter inch gap between the frame and the clutch plates.
