Step 1: Throw away the instructions. Step 2: Remove the bracket held in place by 2 large screws and 2 small screws that go through the bumper into the bracket and forcefully pull the bracket out of the bumper (it's tricky but you can do it) . Step 3: Install the hitch by lining up the holes on the frame and inserting new bolts (with washers) and then additional washers and nuts (don't forget the harness plate on the other side of the rider). Step 4: Tighten the bolts using any combination of sockets and/or wrenches. Step 5: Clean up your mess, wash your hands and open a cold drink of your choice because you deserve it. Strength that the average person lacks, followed by loosening the bumper bolts, then starting with step 1. This wouldn't be hard if you had air tools and a head about 1 inch, but most people don't. All of this will make it last a lot longer than it should. I think I spent more time deciphering the instructions and finding a decent YouTube video than actually installing it. It's a 15-20 job when done right.
