False advertisement

It supposed to come with with 6 clips total 3 for the left side and three for the right side my package only had 1 lucky for me it was the clip I needed but it this false advertisement

  • Replaced broken iris clip in 3 minutes. Wow! So simple.

  • No warranty or return policy in place, which could be problematic if the product proves to be faulty

Fits 2007 Sierra Classic!

I've had my tailgate handle messed up for years and holding on with a zip tie. Finally went to YouTube to see how to fix it and Best Buy had these clips. Worked PERFECTLY and super easy to install. I tried going to a local Auto Zone first and they didn't have any so Best Buy to the rescue!

Clip worked perfectly on my 2001 GMC Sierra C3/TIP on removing the handle cover!

I got really lucky on the install and will offer this hint for others. I had read that the cover over the handle was hard to get off without breaking the tabs. I had my daughter show up while I was attempting to get that cover off, and had pulled back on the top but had not tried to pry it off. I was showing my daughter how the handle would not open the tailgate, and the cover just came right off! Somehow lifting the handle released the whole thing! Worked great to fix extended cab half door lower rod

Ordered it for a tailgate and also used one for 04 GMC 2500HD ext cab to reattach the half door lower latch back to the handle. Worked great spent more time getting the door panel off then it did using a green one to fix the door latch.

When we saw these my husband said well those will never work, but they did and the tailgate closes and stays closed. The product may require professional installation, which could add to the overall cost.

no instructions provided, but it worked after ruining 1st one tried.

These worked, but had to guess at how to install. Ruined first one by trying to install it on the rod before pushing through the hole in the latch release. This wasted it but had 2 more for that side.

You had the part and it was delivered within 2 days.

I used the product to fix my tailgate latch on my Chevy Silverado. Old piece wore out. Easy fix in less than 3 minutes. Definitely worth the money. I wished I looked up the parts earlier.
