Description of πŸ”§ OEMTOOLS 22891 Spark Plug Socket Set – 3/8 Drive with Magnetic, 6 Point Deep Sockets (5/8", 16 mm, 9/16", and 13/16") – Perfect Fit for Most Car Spark Plugs

A GOOD FIT FOR MOST VEHICLES: The three sockets of this SAE socket set, 5/8” (16 mm), 9/16”, and 13/16”, are the most common socket sizes needed for spark plugs in older or modern cars; Sockets may even fit the spark plug of some small engines. BE A MAGNETIC MECHANIC: Non-magnetic spark plug sockets can leave the plug holder insert still stuck on the spark plug after installing or keep the spark plug stuck in the socket after removal; Avoid the hassle of wrestling objects from tight spaces. DON’T LOSE THE SPARK: During installation, the magnet inside these sockets holds the spark plugs in place, preventing drops; Dropped spark plugs could cause misfires even if they look undamaged; Preventing drops protects your engine and your wallet. GET IN THERE: This deep socket set has sockets that measure between 2-1/2" and 2-7/8" in length, enabling easy spark plug removal and installation whether or not a ratchet extender is used. QUALITY MATERIAL: These sockets are made with a special heat-treated alloy steel with a Hard Chrome Finish; Deep marking allows for easy identification; This magnetic socket set is rust resistant and oil damage resistant for long life of use.

Great Magnetic Sockets

I first used magnetic sockets when I recently changed the spark plugs on my 2002 Toyota Corolla as my plugs fall out of the top of the engine. . In the past, other sockets that weren't magnetic had me using the Mickey Mouse button to remove spark plugs. I haven't changed plugs in a very long time, but these magnetic sockets pulled the plugs out easily. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Exact online description of goods

Magnetic Spark Plug Socket Spark plug will not fall out of socket When removing or installing spark plugs. Especially the Ford Triton engine with an extra deep hole in the engine head and if you don't have a magnetic spark plug it becomes more difficult. for removing or installing spark plugs. This socket set has a magnetic insert in the socket and the spark plugs will not come out/fall out of the socket. Good product.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!

Good price better alternative to wrenches

I was going to buy myself a set of wrenches (also magnetic) but then I started paying attention to the fact that the lengths of the different sockets in the wrench set are not to match. Clear. Some of them were too long for the rear of the V6, which doesn't make sense. I love this set, the magnetic force is strong to hold sockets. I use lock extensions (from Gearwrench) which work well for this. Never lose a spark plug boot in a deep spark plug well again.

Better Than Rubber O-Rings

So I ordered these thinking I'd want them to be magnetic so they never go bad. I just received them today and they have a really nice finish. The magnet inside is very strong (only inside, not outside of the socket). The only issue I see is that the magnet is so strong that you may have to struggle with it to get it to go straight into the plug. That being said, I highly recommend the upgrade: I've been using them for a while now and I have to say I really like them. I will be buying another…

I absolutely LOVE it! I never have to worry about losing.

I am self-taught and have ALWAYS been careful when using a conventional spark plug wrench because the rubber boot either unscrewed when the spark plug was installed or remained in the spark plug well. That never happens with these magnetic spark plugs! The magnets on these sockets are incredibly strong! Why did it take so long to finally settle on one of them? I don't know, but I could kick my ass if I don't. That could have saved me a lot of frustration and obscenity. I absolutely LOVE it! I…
