ideal for broken gaskets

In a pinch I had a cracked fill with a sharp edge. I used one of these files. worked great for this. Also, your nasty yellow toenails are great for filing your toenails so they can be clipped. This is an old man. Oh yeah, they're not bad for working with metal.

Excellent o-ring removers

These tools are a must for any o-ring change. Especially when they are in hard-to-reach places like car AC power lines, etc. If you use something sharp it can scratch the o-ring channel and then you will have to buy new lines. Every mechanic should have them. Multiple different sizes and angles give you more flexibility. The right tool for the right job. They worked as advertised. I'm glad I bought them.

Suitable for removing hoses

This is a good alternative to picks as you don't have to worry about damaging hoses when loosening seals. It also allows you to remove the hose from the pipe with less risk of damage. To update. I looked at the pipe I removed the hose from with these tools and it looks like I scratched it a bit. These scratches weren't deep, but that's something to keep in mind when using them this way.

Same tools as famous tool carts but much cheaper

I noticed that two famous tool carts carried the same o-ring and gasket removal kit. The only difference with this OEM tool brand set was that each tool cart had different handles with their company name on the handle, but the actual metal parts of the tools were exactly the same and more than double the price. I always get what I pay for and paying three times as much for a name on the handle for the exact same instruments just isn't a good deal in my opinion. I've used them on pressure washer
