It is NOT 3/8-18 as described

It was described as 3/8-18 but the packaging clearly says 3/8-16. This is a big difference as these sizes are not interchangeable.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Garbage and does not match the photos.

Will not appear as shown. There is no collar on the setting tool and a shoulder that appeared on the setting tool allowed the wire to slip through. I wouldn't run cables at all. Perfect shit.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Useless features

The plastic key broke the first time I used it.

Worked great to fix a damaged steering knuckle mounting thread on my 1985 Monte Carlo SS. The key is plastic and broke off on first use. Luckily I have a metal key.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Not as good as advertised

Product not as shown

The order did not arrive as stated in the listing. The tool did not have a tap handle as shown in the picture. I had to adjust the socket set to make it work as I didn't have time to send it in for a replacement. Revain rarely disappoints. It was difficult this time.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine

Used to repair a broken crank bolt on the 396.

Used to repair a cracked connecting rod bolt on a Chevy 396 big block. Good work. I had to use two sets of threads for the depth. Don't screw the second one in too much or you'll overwrite the first one you inserted. You need a custom-sized drill bit, so research it and order it at the same time.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Neutral

My First Spiral Coil: Tools and Equipment

Bought for my first attempt at repairing a coil thread. It works, no complaints, the main hole of the right size is drilled evenly. Fixed a rear transmission mount on my truck, the threads were snapping out of the hole due to over tightening or when the case was hot. Aluminum taps are easy so no one wanted to just try this instead of going into tap sizes that I will only use once.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Quality

Love the faucet, hate the installation tool!

I like that the faucet has a starter thread which makes it easier to start in those hard to reach places. What I didn't like is that the tool used to install the coil isn't screwed on to prevent the coil from jumping off the steps. Another thing I didn't like about the installation tool, the handle isn't long enough, too big and bothersome, it would be better if it was longer and had a hex or square for turning. .

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Unsafe
