I have had this chair for a little over a year. It was never luxurious but comfortable enough to sit at my desk. I like the mesh back, it offers good support and is breathable. The chair was pretty easy to put together as others have said. A padded seat seems cheap and it is becoming increasingly uncomfortable to remain in a seated position for any length of time. UPDATED: 2 stars. Why? Because one of the two chairs broke. The welds at the junction of the steering rack with the seat burst. Luckily it broke slowly so no one was hurt. These chairs were bought and used by young girls. I regularly sit in it to service my computers. I'm 6ft 2in, 200lbs. These chairs are too small for me, but really not that uncomfortable.
