🔴 OIC30240 Officemate Red Twin Pencil/Crayon Sharpener Review

I teach grade K-2 and we use crayons. I've tried several sharpeners and this is my favorite. The two I got for free from Crayola Corp were the worst I've ever tested. I try to teach the kids in my class about responsible tool use, so it's important to me to have a sharpener that works with them and doesn't fall apart. I wish this sharpener had a hole for regular and thicker crayons.

Brilliant marketing by adding the word "chalk" to the product name. This is a pencil sharpener. Neither hole is actually the diameter of a standard Crayola, meaning you won't end up with a perfectly sharpened point. That's close enough. I don't educate future Picassos. Just a bunch of kids (and a grumpy mom) who would love to use Rosearts a few more times.

I bought a motorized pencil sharpener that worked great for a very short time and then quickly broke and ended up in the trash. Now I'm really sorry I got this in the first place and saved myself a lot of money and frustration. I just got this yesterday but it definitely works better than any crayon sharpener I've had before.
