🕳️ Officemate Medium Heavy-Duty 3-Hole Punch with Ergonomic Handle - 30 Sheet Capacity, Silver (90086) Review

I laminate my favorite recipes to protect them while cooking and keep them in the folder when I need a kick. It was one of the few I found with an adjustable stop. The laminating sheet extends about 1/8 to 3/16 inch around the plain sheet of paper, so the normal stop would be off. This trick does the trick and comes through easily.

Needless to say, a great medium duty hole punch for the home or everyday use in the average office. The molded heavy sheet metal handle easily punches through a dozen or more pages without straining your wrist. Heavy stainless steel springs ensure good grip reset. The full-bottom plastic lid gently catches waste. The handle locks for storage, but keep it out - looks nice. I liked the click adjustable edge guide.

Biggest disappointment was that the paper stopper didn't stop anything (very loose). If I tilt the stamp, it just slides out; I had to glue it in place. Second, I think it would be difficult to punch more than 20 sheets at a time - I tried 20 (once) and it took all the strength I could muster to sink the pin. Now I use it for a maximum of 15 sheets at a time. Those stronger than me might find 30 hands doable, but I thought I was pretty strong and couldn't. Although the hole punch felt it could…
