I bought this shampoo and conditioner about a month ago. The shampoo creates a lot of lather which is difficult as it doesn't clean the hair at all. First, with this shampoo, even after a day without physical activity, I have to wash my hair every night. Second, even if I shower every day, my hair itches all day and it makes me sad. Thirdly, you should not pay so much money and still not get clean hair even for a day. I definitely do not recommend this shampoo brand.

Makes hair waxy. This leads to significant hair loss and irritation of the scalp. This is a Johnson & Johnson product that contains an ingredient called DMDM Hydantoin that releases formaldehyde, meaning it will release small amounts of formaldehyde throughout its shelf life to act as a preservative and antimicrobial agent.

Paired with the right shampoo, it's less than $12 pretax at Target and the grocery store. They perform much better than their much more expensive Aveda counterparts. My hair is always soft and shiny when I use it. It doesn't prevent my hair from getting frizzy in wet weather, but I think only a miracle and/or other hair can do this.

I think my hair is coarse and nothing affects my hair except that it is badly conditioned. And I live far south and I sweat just standing on the street and even more when I'm gardening. So you have to wash your hair every day! And use the shampoo ball in the summer. It worked great!

I've tried every shampoo and volume product for my thick hair and nothing worked until I tried this shampoo and conditioner. I originally bought this because it's sulfate free and I wanted to protect my color treated hair (which it does) and was so surprised when my hair actually gained volume after using these products without doing anything about it. I highly recommend. It also smells very good

I have thin, medium-length, wavy hair. My scalp is normal to oily, needs washing every other day and has no color. I have tried the shampoo and conditioner several times over the years. Each time I thought it could be better and would switch to a different shampoo and conditioner and go back to the Coconut Shampoo-Conditioner Set. There is none better. This is the best!

Terrible. Filled with silicone. My hair fell out. Don't rely on natural products. Silicone products stick to your hair and over time cause build-up, weighing it down and making it greasy to the touch. This is an artificial shine, it does not help or heal the hair. Do yourself a favor and stay away. Hair care products are cheap and readily available and contain no silicone. Also, ask any barber if you don't believe it.
