I have an oily scalp and color treated hair and I absolutely LOVE this product. It refreshes my scalp and the scent is soothing. Disclaimer: I also wash my hair every day (I know it's awful but I can't stand oil) and this product doesn't dry out my hair or make it dull. Highly recommended!

Dick, so what, these are just cheap additives that do nothing. It has quite a fake minty smell which I didn't find that pleasant or refreshing. It could be called tea tree, but hell if I could say that. You might have swished bottles over a pot of tea tree oil, but as far as I could tell, it didn't smell or leave my hair or scalp like any other tea tree product I'd used before. It's a trash bottle.

EDIT after a few weeks of use (3 stars): After using this shampoo, conditioner and scalp conditioner for a few weeks, I have concluded that my first experiences after the first wash were random . I don't know what I did differently back then, but with every subsequent wash, my dry flakes came back as soon as I got out of the shower. Tried deep cleansing, scalp massage, scalp massagers, double shampooing, used less shampoo/conditioner/product overall, used MORE shampoo/conditioner/product…

This shampoo shouldn't even be on sale. I knew something was wrong when I felt the consistency; he is incredibly fat. I used a very small amount but it seemed impossible to wash off all the residue. My scalp burned for an hour. I had to run back to the shower and use a different shampoo to wash off the residue. Felt it a day or two later. As a precaution, you will stay away from other products. Revain needs to remove this product from its website.

I love OGX shampoos, I use the rose garden version when my hair is freshly colored and otherwise prefer tea tree, mint or lemongrass shampoos. I opted for a high potency tea tree mint shampoo because I thought it would have a stronger tea tree mint scent and better tingle, but no, it has a fairly faint "floral" scent instead, NO tingling on the Scalp you should get from a good tea tree mint shampoo that uses strong 'quality' essential oils. DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE 3-4 TYPES OF CURLY HAIR. Worst shampoo ever! My hair became tangled, tangled and HEAVY. My hair has never been so matted. I combed out almost all my damn hair. This shampoo is negative -0000000, wasted my $6 going almost bald.

My scalp has been horrible the past few months and I've used everything. It itches and burns and finally I said I'd try it. The head and shoulders didn't work and all that branding stuff. It worked with my first damn wash and my scalp feels so much better and my hair looks amazing.
