🌊 Ohaus ST10 Waterproof Pen Meter Review

The best inexpensive pH meter I have bought. Like anything that keeps the sensor in solution, this one has a nice lid with foam on the bottom. Bigger LED than others. Accurate testing with test solutions (7.0/4.0). Highly recommended.

The first came out of the box. The instructions say to soak the storage solution an hour before use, so I ordered the solution and did. Still deviates by 0.15 after the 6.86 calibration powder. Sent back for exchange. If the second one works exactly I'll update the review, if not know it's not out of the box (which is what I was hoping/expecting). To edit; Pen #2 was soaked in storage solution for one hour as indicated. The 6.86 calibration solution shows 6.9, so I think it's pretty accurate…

This meter cannot be calibrated. It becomes a useless piece of junk once the calibration fails. The piece of sponge that was supposed to be soaked in the storage solution was almost dry when I received it and the readings became inaccurate after only a few uses and since it couldn't be calibrated I was left with a piece of junk. I ordered Hana and sent it back. A Hana is significantly more expensive, but at least I don't expect it to become scrap after a few measurements. Note: This model does…
