Graphic drawing pen

I gave this to my father and he loves to use it, it's very important to him because of the fine lines he writes and what you can do with it

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Writes well, not great.

The pen initially had problems with smooth writing and non-skipping ink when drawing lines. This issue has mostly been fixed, but I feel like you have to press too hard to get nice smooth lines. Sometimes the ink still runs out when writing. I would not buy this brand of pen again.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • old

I enjoy writing with very fine point pens

I enjoy writing with very fine point pens so it was a pleasure for me. I was hearing about Massdrops OHTO for the first time and tried the fountain pen and magnetic cap pens, both of which I enjoyed using. I saw a set of their Graphic Liner pens in different gauges, from 005 to 10. I settled on more 005 options. They were very smooth to write with and wrote very finely, but there is one thing that makes me want to giving them a 3 out of 5 instead of 5. Ink leaks out of these pens even with the…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

These are good pens but you need to know what you are getting. Actually, I got them through Massdrop; I've never heard of them and I have a dozen of these .005s. The nibs are metal, somewhere between a typical pigment liner (Micron, Stadtler, or Copic) and a ballpoint pen. Line quality varies more than with these pens depending on the angle and speed you draw at, but it's possible to get thin, smooth lines (e.g. hatching) in a consistent way. I had no trouble with line quality control once I…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
