I love her. I was given copper mules and kept thinking that I wanted more copper for my kitchen. You are perfect! Good seals for flour/sugar. Also fits my dog's hedgehog very well!

Just received the canisters and they don't look as advertised. Very dull color and not bright color as advertised. Very disappointed Will not be ordering Old Dutch International again.

Yes they are the same shape but NOT the same color. My canisters are a very dark brown like they've been varnished to look like old copper and I was really hoping for that shiny new kind of penny, instead I got that nasty penny you keep at the bottom of your drink holder in your old, smelly find car . I'm very upset because they weren't cheap!

The description mentions copper instead of stainless steel, but I thought the inside was also copper instead of stainless steel. This was important to me because I read an article on how copper kills virulent bacteria and viruses like the coronavirus. So it was important to have copper-plated canisters. Come on they are good and I would give them an A but from the description it was all copper not stainless steel which is not the case.

The insides were dirty so definitely wash before use (you should anyway but I was surprised at how dirty they are). The copper on the outside is perfect and goes perfectly with my kitchen decor. I was happy to find them in four sizes and after washing they were immediately filled and ready to use. These tins are perfect. We have flour in the largest, sugar in the second largest, herbal tea bags in the third largest, and baking powder in the smallest. (We often use baking soda for cleaning, so we use quite a bit and like to have it on hand.) While others say the seal in their canisters wasn't effective enough and/or the canisters were too small, I don't started with it. have any of the same problems. I was actually surprised at how well they seal (no moisture issues) and how big they are.

These are good containers but mainly for decoration. As many reviewers have pointed out, the lids just don't fit snugly enough to store anything inside. Of the 4, only 1 is firm enough to store away (the second of the smallest) without worrying about things getting old or bugs getting in. Since we live in Florida and deal with humidity and pesky ants who are too spoiled to enjoy the outdoors anymore, we can't use them for food/baked goods storage.
