My Logan is gathering dust in the corner.

The design of the Olfa carpet knife is deceptively simple. However, after several years of use, I can honestly say that this is a marvel of engineering. I have a much more expensive Logan cutting system but use this tool regularly. I love it. For simple mat cutting, it cannot be beaten – or at least not yet succeeded. Stock up on sharp blades and get started! Blades are his Achilles heel, hard to find but they are there.

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • High price

That's when I realized the problem was that the blade wasn't tight and wasn't held exactly in place. Bought Logan and 18 mats, later glad I switched. Note, to be clear, I have an MC-45 and…
