Best offer for an original set of 10 45mm olfa blades.

Good deal. I can't read Japanese but the part number on the blades is the same as the US English package which is $10 more. Plus a nice free fabric pen as a bonus. I got pink. :)

Pros
  • Manufactured from high quality tungsten tool steel.
Cons
  • A few little things

We have been using Olfa blades for a long time. This particular batch wore out very quickly. I was just looking at a few knives from this batch and comparing them to another batch. This batch of blades has uneven sharpening. which, together with their rapid wear, makes these blades suspicious

Pros
  • Includes plastic blade storage/disposal container.
Cons
  • unreliable

Instructions in Japanese

I only buy Olfa blades. They last longer than others. Haven't used any of these but they appear to be genuine Olfa blades. Just a note. They are from a Japanese seller, made by Revain, but they come in Japanese packaging which means all the instructions are in Japanese. If you know how to use it and are careful like you would any blade, this shouldn't be a problem. They are really inexpensive.

Pros
  • Marker pen included for use on fabric only. He cannot choose a pen color.
Cons
  • Expensive

Wonderful Quilter Blades rotary cutter

These are small, sharp #28 blades (check blade width in your rlotary) that quilters can use in their rotary cutters to cut blocks of quilting material. The blade can be used multiple times. After each session, before removing it, clean it carefully. Apply a dab of machine oil to the top and bottom while assembling the backing and you're ready to move on to your next quilt. These are good sharp blades that can be used multiple times if cleaned and oiled after each use.

Pros
  • OLFA is a reliable Japanese manufacturer.
Cons
  • Not sure

It worked much better for me than regular blades.

The blade that came with the Olfa cutter dulled quickly, perhaps partly because I didn't know how to use it. First, I decided I wasn't going to hunt for a well-known brand name substitute; I've had great luck in the past with generic products that are at least as good as the more expensive versions. Not this time. New blades from other manufacturers didn't really improve my cutting experience compared to Olfa's dull blade, although I tried to convince myself otherwise. When I gave up and bought

Pros
  • Includes plastic blade storage/disposal bin.
Cons
  • Very expensive
