I had to add an extra fan to the top of the heatsink. Cannot work without fan. As the radiator warmed up, operation was unstable and intermittent. This happened about 10 minutes later. This might not be a very good thermal solution as I doubt it can be used without additional fan cooling!

Asking too much for instructions? It's aluminum and was eventually assembled after I figured out where the thermal pads were hanging, but it took a few hours or fiddling. That wonderful thing called paper can be attached with pictures on it to see how it fits together, why there are two types of screws, and the best way to use thermal pads.

The build quality is very good overall! Depending on the angle of the case, the fans make some noise. If I had to buy again I would try a passive heatsink as I tried turning the fans off and didn't see much temperature rise. Expect temperatures in the range of 40-50°C, depending on the load and the ambient temperature.

I run my Pi 4B headless and this fanless case seems to keep it at a low 40C. There are good GPIO access pins. The camera cable slot is sufficient. But I don't think you want to connect the camera cable after the case is assembled. There is no space to lift the cable holder. So decide beforehand whether you want to use the camera. Although I have to say they were good enough to include two sets of thermal pads! So you can open it if you change your mind. This is a good option for an experimental

I liked the open design and dueling fans. This product is put together much better than I expected. The fans are also much quieter than expected (I assume this is due to the good build quality and solidity of the case). The product was easy to install but if you are not careful how tight you tighten the back screws you could cause your PI 4's circuit board to shift due to the thermal thickness warps pads sit on the chips. There should be enough tightness to allow the radiators to work without over tightening, be aware. Well I have to say I absolutely love this case! It fits the RPi4 perfectly, is well made, comes with everything you need and for the price you can't beat it. The dual fans are very quiet and work well to keep the board cool. You "can" add a photo to the set. Product demonstration showing where and how to install heat transfer pads for those unfamiliar with them as not using them will affect cooling performance.
