Olson FR49400 Tooth Scroll Assortment Review

Scroll saw training. Bought a new Dewalt jigsaw. It came with two blades. Locally painless blades could not be found. Ordered different blades with Olson jump teeth. Only used size #5. Work like a charm. Excellent results. Did some intricate patterns with great results. Highly recommended.

Very durable. Very sharp! Very diverse. I could cut all sorts of shapes with it. They make it easy to carve small radius turns in thick wood. The pictures are two jigsaw puzzles I made from different 3/4 inch thick woods. As you can see I have made very precise cuts in a variety of woods with these blades.

Therefore 4 blades were missing from the pack. It's too late to go back to this moment. Also, be careful when opening the packaging. The blades are free and separated only by a thin piece of thick paper. The blades are small and difficult to distinguish. Eventually mine all got mixed up and it took forever to sort them into separate groups.

I have used Olson saw blades in jewelry saw frames and jigsaw frames in the past so I turn to this company to get the job done properly. This is an assortment pack of #2, #5, and #7 blades rated at 20 TPI (teeth per inch) for size 2, 12.5 TPI for size 5, and 11.5 TPI for size 7. Cutting gauges from 3/16 to 2 inch thick .
