Works for most

Definitely loses sharpness quicker than my previous shop blades. Didn't break despite heavy use. Doesn't cut straight once it becomes blunt.

Pros
  • 1/8" wide, cuts to 3/16" radius
Cons
  • Fits

The blade broke after 3 hours of use.

Purchased to cut letters on a Delta 9" band saw. The blade has a good cutting speed and relatively smooth cuts with little grinding effort. However, after about 3 hours of use, the blade broke at the weld. The blade was aligned and tensioned to Delta specifications.

Pros
  • .018" thick
Cons
  • So far so good

The best blade on the market

My father is 89 years old. He is an avid carpenter. He only uses Olson blades. The .125 x 56 1/8 is very thin and tends to crack under pressure, but Olson brands seem to last longer than other brands. It's difficult to find Olson blades at a good price, so I use the internet to find retailers with the best price for them.

Pros
  • Sold per piece
Cons
  • The list will go on.

These blades are the worst!

I will NEVER buy these Olson blades again! The metal they use is the worst ever! These blades ALWAYS break and leave me dry. I'm so tired of the quality of these blades. I do NOT recommend them. I wasted so much money and time on these blades. I am a very unhappy and dissatisfied customer.

Pros
  • 1/8" wide, 3/16" cutting radius
Cons
  • Small parts

The best blade on the market

My dad is 89 years old. He is an avid carpenter. He uses Olson blades exclusively. The .125 x 56 1/8 are very thin and tend to snap under pressure, but Olson brands seem to last longer than other brands. It is difficult to find olson blades at a good price so i use the internet to find dealers with the best price for them.

Pros
  • 56 1/8 foot length: Fits Delta 28-180 and 28-185 8" saws, 10" Pro Tech and other 10" tricycle table saws
Cons
  • Some little things

Weld breaks too often

Bought 5 blades. Three blades broke in just 2 hours of use. All blades broke at the weld. The saw was fully adjusted after the second blade broke, but the 3rd blade didn't last much longer. I installed the 4th blade in hopes of buying more blades from a different brand soon. The blades seem to cut well and track well. Tension is moderate, so I have no indication that the saw or the operator is at fault.

Pros
  • 14 tpi
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
