Outstanding mirrorless camera

Olympus makes the best mirrorless cameras. I know they sell a camera division but they are still worth it and are great cameras. Better IBIS and other new features are pretty good! I'm still working on and checking out all the features (there's an EM10 too, so it's a big upgrade for me). Autofocus is much faster on this model than on the EM10 mk1. Images also look a lot sharper compared to the EM10 (numbers as it's a much newer camera but just wanted to mention it). I use it often for wildlife…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Amazing camera, but E-MI mk II is even better

On its own this is an excellent camera that delivers impressive results. Mainly because it inherits the same revolutionary technology from its 5-year-old predecessor, the EM-5 mk II, like focus bracketing and high-resolution mode. However, in the Olympus range, the 4 year old E-M1mk II is the best camera for around the same price. Ironically, in the case of the E-M5 III, Olympus chose to downsize the battery and still save 300 shots on a single charge, when they could have saved the same…

  • High marks for support and durability from testers

The E-M5 Mark III is versatile and easy to use.

I tried many different options on the market before settling on the Olympus E-M5 Mark III. November and December of this year either tried in store, worked with friends or returned the following: Canon M6 Mark II, Fujifilm XT30, Canon m50 and Sony 6400.: All great cameras, picture quality beyond my capabilities. like a photographer with one of those cameras. But the best camera is the one you take with you when you decide to take photos, the one that feels right in your hand, the one you WILL…

Nice camera, suitable for camera and photography

As I get older, I worry about the weight of my cameras and lenses, so I've been using the m4/3 for a number of years. Generally satisfied, except for HDR. I've read that the new sensor has better HDR, and I didn't want to "throw away" all my lenses. So I bought this little OM after much"study". This is the beauty and friends version (same E m1 mrkiii sensor) produces great shots. However, I have "man's hands". ML in golf gloves. This body is tiny and too small for me to use comfortably, so it…

Excellent IBIS. Mediocre images.

I bought this camera as a general purpose travel camera. I was excited to try it and see what it can do given the reviews. I found the image stabilization to be at the top of its class. I could do a 6 second handheld exposure at night. The problem is the general image quality. The RAW color science is just unnatural compared to my canons and makes it difficult to edit in post. Even in photos with moderate lighting, noise is a constant problem. I was expecting this camera to be a bit louder than

I started with the EM10-MK iii and really liked it, but was very happy with all the great features of the big brother EM5 MKiii. In particular, weather protection, high-resolution recordings, improved autofocus. Everything in the package is slightly larger than the EM10. The only thing that bothered me was their decision to use a plastic case instead of a metal case, but in the end I thought they must have known what they were doing. I ordered one fairly early on and within 6 months of very…

Returned Nikon Z50 for it, so HAPPY!

Before I give an overview of this wonderful camera, a little background on my photo journey. I learned the basics of photography on the Nikon D5300 (over 5 years ago) and then eventually progressed to the full frame D750. After years of shooting for fun and for semi-professional use I decided to downsize and bought a used Olympus Em10 Mark I. That's when I fell in love with the M43 format as the size and portability allowed me to use my camera to take with me everywhere and some more of my…
