The TP-8 handset is a compact device with good sensitivity to audio signals. I also have the previous version (TP-7) and I don't notice any difference in performance between them. This works great. As a newspaper reporter, I do phone interviews and that's perfect for that. You just plug it into your recorder's mic input (I use a Sony recorder but I think any brand will do) and then put the earphone in your ear. And, of course, hold the phone to your ear. It records clearly, with no glitches or anything like that. Just be careful not to plug it into the headphone jack as you'll only have a full record of your conversation but you won't be able to hear the other person…
