1/4 " instead of 1/2 for power and hand tools

Before I bought it, I could tell that it was actually a 1/4" throughput set. I have several sets of through bits from an open end wrench and this is a great addition.

Great complement to sockets and socket sets

Actually has 1/2, 3/8 and 1/4 drive. MOST IMPORTANTLY it gives you a flat socket with a flexible head. Exactly what I needed. Innovative.

Not what it's marked for.

This doesn't look like a 1/2" drive kit. It appears to be a mislabeled 1/4" drive kit. I doubt you'll ever find a 5-14mm socket set with a 1/2" drive. it makes no sense. I don't think the item was intentionally defaced, rather it was made in China with second-rate tooling. A company that didn't get the details right. The kit appears to use Apex Tool Group's venerable GearWrench 'Vortex' pass-through wrench, aka the Thru-Jack design found in many other Asian socket kits sold under license from…

Misleading Hand Tools

lesson learned. Read the description first. Was looking for a 1/2" socket set because we use it at work and I needed a set quicker than the supplier could get me one. What was my disappointment when I found that it could be used instead of the standard square section for heads was branded junk thin for the touch heads and all in metric units even though the description used inches plus all the bushings are too small for a regular ude if you do mechanical work they are too small and even if you…
