Fits but looks cheap

Fits but looks cheap. The drive end of the clutch is a little loose and can be made from heavier gauge steel. In the end he did his job.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Great for axle

Sturdy enough to get the job done. Proper tool for removing the two large spindle nuts on a Jeep CJ Dana 30. If you have one of these Jeeps this head should definitely be in your tool box.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • No instructions

What I needed to work on my hubs.

This tightened my axle nuts perfectly. I gave it a 4 for strength because it doesn't look like a normal tool head. It worked for what it was for.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Clarity

Fast and quality replacement parts

I have Willy's old van. Having never dealt with brakes before, I wasn't ready to dismantle the axle nut. I didn't have the right size. Raven comes to the rescue. I had it in two days. Fits perfectly and great quality. Boom. work is done.

Pros
  • great for me
Cons
  • boring packaging

For use on the later Cj5 Dana 30 front axle.

This is a head that fits the bearing nuts on a 1980 Jeep Cj5 Dana 30 narrow gauge axle. what else can i say It fits perfectly. Not too loose to round out an overtightened nut and not too tight to get stuck.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Repair

The right tool for the job

Don't be the guy who changes spindle nuts with a chisel. Buy it and do it right. A little pricey for what you get but it gets the job done quickly and correctly. Also, attach it to your torque wrench and make sure you can tighten your nuts to specification.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Get your nuts right.

You, my friend, are a very specific person looking for a very specific tool. It's not fashionable. It's not technical. He won't dance for you or show you how to tie knots. What he will do is painlessly remove the spindle nut from the old Dana 30 without repeating what you did at the truck stop last year. it's on, twist it and boom! No nuts! You'll appreciate it if you don't break nuts with a screwdriver and hammer again.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only
