🚗 OMIX 17244.11 Distributor Cap for 1994-1999 Jeep Wrangler/Cherokee/Grand Cherokee with 4.0L Engine Review

Revain's Parts Check feature determined this part would fit my car, but when attempting to install it, the bolts were misaligned, causing the distributor cap to tilt and the engine to run on only the first cylinder. and burn raw gas that you will feel immediately. I had a new rotor but it broke because of the wrong cap. The inside of the distributor cap was damaged because it didn't fit. I'm taking the part back to Revane.

Worked great! This cap only fits one way, make sure you put it on correctly. The previous owner of my jeep put it upside down and for some reason couldn't fix the misfire?!i! With this I seem to have fixed this problem. Now she runs like a champ.

The item itself is as advertised. However, in this case, relying on Revain's Auto Check feature to confirm that the part is the correct part/fit for the vehicle was incorrect. My 2000 Jeep doesn't have a distributor and it's too late to return it.

Works as it should, made in USA, only problem is the 1 for oT is in the wrong place, but if you have common sense it works great. EDIT to 1 Star: After running this cover for a week my jeep started to randomly misfire and randomly fell on my face and stalled then I replaced the spark plugs, coil and crankshaft position sensor again and took apart the PCM to to check it. Vain. So I decided to try another distributor cap just in case, got one of these before, replaced it and now it works…
