Omix-ADA 17438.05 Oil Pan Drain Plug: Efficient and Reliable Drainage Solution Review

Worked great in my 2015 Rubicon after I used an Irwin Bolt grip to remove my original plug which the dealer appears to have rounded off with a hammer wrench. It's been a few months and no drops.

Approximately 25% shorter than the stock spark plug I replaced in my 2014 Wrangler. Curious, but no problem. The previous reviewer's misinformation deserves to be corrected. Here's the thing: The bolt size fits a 13mm head/wrench, just like the original parts.

The connector comes with a thick rubber gasket which is different from the OEM connector but seals well. After installing and tightening for several hundred kilometers, there have been no leaks so far. Good quality for the cost.

The fork they sent was not the fork I ordered nor the fork shown and described on Revain. I'm sure the fork they sent will fit my car but it had a removable washer. . The one I ordered is the same as the OEM connector with the washer built in.

Went to the lube shop one day and they rounded my drain plug up pretty well. I think one visit to a prostitute is enough to contract a sexually transmitted disease. I RIGHT? Anyway, I bought this drain plug for my 2011 Jeep Wrangler and it's fantastic. Works absolutely as advertised.

I changed the oil in my jeep myself since it was new. I had a recall so I decided to let the dealer change my oil while it was still available. The next time I went to change the oil, I found that they had ripped off my drain plug. I was able to score a 1/2 socket when the 13mm slipped and pulled out the stripped fork. This replacement fits perfectly and looks just as good or even better than the OEM. Will be updated when something changes
