Omix Ada 18270 10 Leaf Spring Plate Review

The leaf spring plate I purchased in the Struts and Suspension category was a complete letdown. Automotive replacement parts should provide durability and reliability, but this product seemed to be made of cheap materials. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I was able to detect the flaws in the design and it did not meet my expectations. The part should work as intended although I am using it on a home build off road trailer. I wanted to point out that both sides did not come with the nut shown in the picture.

Works as it should, used on my 67 M416. The only criticism is the shock absorber. The weld for the pin is next to the hole so there is no room for a thick washer under the u-bolt nut. If they made the plate 1/4" longer on that side it would fit perfectly. I have to cut the pin and weld it right there to make it work.
