Requires bleach to replace filters. The filter supplied with the product is damaged. The hardware provided to set up the system may work. It's all a quarter of an inch, which the product says nothing about. All connections are compression.

Works great. Note. My delivery did not include an o-ring, which was required for the filter to function. I had to order and ship separately which was a real pain - first flooding under the sink, turning water on and off in the house etc. If an o-ring had been included I would have rated it 5 stars.

I was afraid to change the cartridge when it was time because someone said it was difficult, but I didn't find anything difficult about it. I just carefully followed a few simple instructions. Be sure to use food grade silicone as directed - I really don't see why anyone would have trouble with a leak if they just follow the directions.

Great little filter. It's inexpensive, filters a lot of elements, is easy to install, and really enhances the flavor. Our city water is pretty good. This filter makes our city water taste like bottled spring water and a lot cheaper! I've had this for about a month now. It replaced a previous model I had for 10 years. CB3 filters work great.
