🔪 Omnigrid Rotating Cutting Mat: A Must-Have for Precision Cuts and Measurements Review

So excited. I have a square spinning mat, but it's annoying with its corners and flat sides. This round design with jagged edges is perfect! Hooray!

Everyone has used it and loved it. It has a foam bottom to keep it in place. The central bar does not protrude like in square ones. This is one of my favorite quilting tools.

This is very useful for quilting projects that require turning the fabric. With this board, you simply rotate the board and leave the material in place. It's on the small side so it's definitely for the smaller pieces.

I love this Omnigrid spinning mat. Used it to make masks against the coronavirus. It works like a dream. Not heavy and bulky. Ripple your fingers on the side makes a huge improvement! The mat adheres/holds well to the surface and is absolutely non-slip. My new favorite carpet!

Not Self Healing. I have been using a Fiskars mat for many years and have decided to purchase an Omnigrid spinning mat to supplement. Significantly thicker than Fiskars which makes cutting easier BUT now useless as cuts do not heal making a straight cut impossible. I've only been using Omnigrid for a week or two. I have no cuts on the Fiskar mat which I have been using for years. upset.

This purchase was a disappointment. I bought this "spinner" to cut details like flying geese, triangles, etc. It doesn't work as expected. First, the mat wobbles and tips over when in use. Secondly, the mat didn't stick and after four uses deep dents appeared (that's right, I only cut four pieces of flying geese, and the dents are deep and permanent). YIKE. This is a waste of money and I regret the purchase.

Yes. That's why I have mine and that's the only thing it's used for. I'm making 12" x 3" cheesecakes and need to cut them into 12 equal slices. Each cake weighs a ton. Each piece is a meal in itself. When the cheesecake is done, chilled, and ready to slice, I transfer it to a 12" circle (food-grade cardstock) and then place it in the center of the Omnigrid spinning mat. Directly above I take my 14 inch cake cutter and carefully cut through the filling (with cooked fruit) following the 30° marks
