This was exactly what I was looking for. Installs quickly and easily. The only negative is the price of $30 for a mount. However, I see no reason why it shouldn't last forever.

The brackets were difficult to mount on the wall. The anchor bolts are loose. The mounting system cannot support the weight of the speaker. The speaker also tilts after tightening.

Had a pair for probably 25 years. The speakers finally needed replacing, so I replaced them with Bose cube-style speakers. Since the screw cap had a different diameter, I ordered new brackets. Guess what? They look just like the old ones. Hope for 25 years of it.

They do exactly what they were designed to do. No slipping or moving once installed and tightened according to instructions. I use this mount to ceiling mount the relatively light (less than 5 pounds each) satellite speakers that came with my 54-inch Vizio 5.1 soundbar. It was exactly what I needed.
