Useful tool for learning

I used them to keep my grip correct on volleys and it worked very well. One of the three fell apart fairly quickly, but the other two are intact. never mind Great tool.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • unreliable

Maybe I have a lemon?

Doesn't seem to suit me at all. It keeps slipping into the wrong position on the handle while playing. It seems to work fine for other people, so maybe I have defective ones? I'm not sure if I want to try again.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • So-so

Grip trainer good for sports

My index finger needs a joint replacement because of arthrosis. I can't bend much. This grip trainer always allows me to lean against it for cushioning, paddle assist, impact impact and maintain proper grip. Stay where you are. I was very surprised how well it worked.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Doubt

Not the best result in tennis

I finally had the opportunity to test the Rite of Passage. After two uses, the velcro no longer stuck. If you get the velcro dirty or, god forbid, sweat it won't get fluffy anymore. The idea is great, but the implementation didn't work. I do not recommend this. That's a waste of your $10.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Without a machine gun

Good but needs improvement

Works well. This is a good tool to teach specific holds without the hassle of explaining. My student used to have trouble hitting with a one-handed backhand, but he hit flawlessly with this tool. Even teaching the continental grip for volleys and serves works well. Cons: It tends to be uncomfortable on hands and they need to be secured with velcro as it won't stick for long after hours of use. I ordered 6 pieces but only 4 were delivered.

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • So far so good

Great reference point for learning and maintaining new grippers

Product arrived on time. I train and play a bit of tennis. I'm currently switching to a less extreme right grip and making good progress, but this tool really helps maintain a new grip early in a batting session. I've also used it to help customers maintain feed control from Continental and it really helped! Longevity doesn't seem to be an issue at all so far.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Purchased to teach students how to use a semi-western grip (vs. eastern or continental). Well the interesting thing about this device is that it prevents the crank from rotating halfway west to west (counterclockwise for the right hand) but does NOT prevent the crank from rotating (clockwise) back east or continental turns - that I wanted to solve the problem. impede . So the device is pretty useless for my specific use case. I only tried it once and gave up, so I can't comment on long-term…

I use it all the time but the quality is very poor.

I started using a grapple many years ago (I'm a former NCAA coach 5 NCAA level top 5 players, some former players have reached #3 in the world in dubs) and I like the concept of these but had to buy multiple times because of the poor quality. For example. one of these had the Velcro falling apart, the other had the cushion separating from the metal bar (I suspect the aluminum weld broke) etc. The odd thing is that I've used them on my little juniors who I teach that's how they became not…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Functionality
