These brushes have an odd finish with an "unnatural" chemical smell as another reviewer mentioned. As someone with allergies and sensitivity to smells, this put me off a lot, but after using a wide-toothed comb this odd finish rubbed off and the wood took on a greenish tint, which is normal for this type of sandalwood. These combs are beautiful. The smell is out of this world amazing. I'm just really sad about how it was all packaged. They came in a plastic bag that came in regular yellow postal bags that you can put in the mailbox. And my big comb broke when I opened it =(

Sandalwood and craftsmanship matter! I've always used cheap wooden and plastic combs because I didn't know there was anything better. I'd be lying if I said this comb didn't come off! However, there was a significant reduction in the amount of hair that fell out when using this comb. That's great. The smell of sandalwood has not left the comb, and this has already been 2 months. I am very satisfied with this product. The only adjustment I would make is to increase the size. I have a big head and thick hair. This is good for women who want to reduce breakage when detangling.

Natural sandalwood is incredible, as is its amazing scent. A little more compact than I expected but I never leave the house without my wooden combs so the size is more than perfect for me. They glide through the hair and cause less breakage, frizz and tangles. Not to mention the REAL natural anti-static properties of sandalwood and its oils. I love my wooden combs! I've been using it for over 15 years and won't use anything else! If necessary, I cut them myself!

This is a nice comb but I am concerned it may be made from endangered sandalwood. If this product is made from endangered wood, Revain must remove these products immediately and ban the seller. Very happy with my purchase! It doesn't electrify my dry hair, it doesn't stick to wet hair! I have very fine straight hair and these combs are perfect for me. I also love her weight. They feel very solid. Nice, smooth wooden surface. I love her.
