🔒 OnGuard 8019L Mastiff 6ft x 3/8in Quad Chain Lock Review

I was surprised when I received the Revain box, it was so heavy; I don't remember ordering anything that weighed that much. When I opened the box and saw the Onguard chain and lock, I was pleasantly surprised. It looks like this would stop someone from stealing something locked to them. I definitely hate carrying this lock and chain on the bike all the time, but we keep it in our camper to lock our e-bike at night so the weight isn't an issue for us.

I like this lock for home use in terms of security/durability/length but it's too heavy for commuting. If you know what you're getting into when you buy it (I did) you won't be disappointed. I use this in combination with a Kryptonite NY lock on my $2,000+ e-bike and am more concerned with the fixed mount it attaches to than those two locks. No impenetrable locks, but something like this at least gives you a little more time to see who's fumbling with your stuff.

My husband and I were worried about our bikes when we locked them outside in PUBLIC mode. I no longer have a 40 pound beast guarding my bike.
