Perfect for older exercise bikes

This bike seat clip allowed me to take an old Vision Fitness bike with an uncomfortable, cracked seat and attach an ERGO seat. Pretty easy to install with an extra set of stabilizing hands.

Pros
  • Sturdy and durable
Cons
  • High price

330lb mountain bike rider and this thing can hold my weight!

I had to buy a new one because the old one broke and fell into disrepair. Because he couldn't carry my weight. I put this on and tightened it with a ratchet wrench and 14mm socket. I tightened on both sides. When I rode my bike and it didn't break! I was very pleased. Now I can handle bumps in the road and this thing can handle them. I would recommend using blue screw lock. This will prevent the nuts from loosening.

Pros
  • Reliable classic design
Cons
  • Was damaged

Will not fit standard diameter (7/8 ") seat tubes.

Looks like the part above the tube has been crushed somehow because the hole is oblong instead of round. There aren't any Signs of damage but it looks like the fork was painted after assembly as all parts glued together and some glued so much I had to pry them apart with a screwdriver I ended up with my old center section and that used new threaded part with nuts and joined them to new parts that clamp the seat rails Too much work to do with the Frakenstein seat clamp Poor quality control.

Pros
  • Simple packaging to reduce waste
Cons
  • Updates

Adjustment needed Best for cycling

I ordered this to replace an old/disassembled one. It works great and I'm very happy with the price. I had a problem - when I tried to put it on the bar it was too tight. At first I thought I ordered the wrong item as I don't really know much about bikes but I measured my bar and it was a standard 7/8 inch bar. I ended up taking a pair of thin jawed pliers, inserted them into the cylinder and opened them up to stretch them a bit. Honestly I'm not sure if my bar was too big or the clamp was tooโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Inner diameter: 7/8 inch
Cons
  • Not sure
