Excellent quality but short lived

I bought this to wear all day at work. Aside from providing arch support, they are relatively comfortable. Overall I was disappointed with the thickness of the socks.

Blister-free at last

I bought about 4 sets of anti-blister socks which caused terrible blisters the first time I used them. and although it's a bit larger than I usually like, I felt cushioned and airy. I walked my usual gait and had less pain and 0 blisters!

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

My second order in outerwear

This is my second order for these socks. I liked the first ones so much that I wanted more. I wore my cowboy boots for most of the winter and we've already had -15 weeks. My legs felt really good. Much better than most of my Marino wool socks. I don't know how wet they are yet, but so far everything else is 5 stars.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • thin

Works well when camping

is a fully cushioned sock which means it has padding on both the top and bottom. They are more suitable for hiking in milder weather. I recently wore them on a couple of hikes in Utah's Big 5 parks where temperatures hit 107 degrees Fahrenheit. My legs are a little fried in it, but not unbearable. I've had a few other brands of half pillows that seemed better suited to these temperatures. Otherwise these socks held up and performed as they should.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Some small things

My new favorite socks!

I think when they sell socks to old people, they think we want to strangle our feet. You know, so they don't swell up with the blood pooling under the ankle. So I challenged myself to find loose socks, even if that meant they would hang around my ankles. I have and it is not! They hug my legs and feet, but very gently. Thick but breathable. If only they came in white. Just because I'm going gray doesn't mean I want to wear it every day.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Crumpled

Warm feet are better than cool feet

The size of the sock corresponds to the description. Fits my height 13 feet well. I was expecting the sock to "just cover the ankle" but ended up being higher than expected. I also bought them to wear in South Carolina in the summer to wick away moisture. These socks are very thick to wear in summer. When I read ankle run, hike low cut. I just expected something different. Also be careful as 2 of the 4 pairs I received had "bigger seams" than the ones that went right down my ankle and were…

Disappointment - Socks

I've been wearing these socks with my Gore-Tex hiking boots for 18 months. I LOVE the extra thickness of these socks as they provide above average cushioning which makes hiking so much more comfortable. They kept my feet warm in 10 degree temps but weren't too warm on multi day 10-15 mile hikes in over 90 temps. a pair because the workmanship of the socks was disappointingly sub par. with so many random loops all over the sock (think what a sock looks like when you hook it to something and pull

Always keep my cold feet warm.

Bought last year, well ahead of winter. My feet sweat a lot all the time, and in winter when they sweat, my socks on my feet get wet and freeze. I've knitted homemade socks, bought different types of fabric, thicker and lighter socks, everything you can think of. I keep my house around 65 during the day all winter and no matter what my feet still get cold. I tried these socks last year and for the first time in my life my feet feel relatively dry, warm and comfortable. These socks have such a…

Pros

Fit, Thickness, Warmth, Comfort

My search is finally over. As soon as I opened the box and held them in my hands and felt the shape and thickness I knew if they fit as well as they look this is what I was looking for. Having just bought 6 pairs of addidas which were slim and fitted and after wearing them the difference day and night was slight, I returned them and immediately ordered four more pairs. As a diabetic with poor circulation due to cold feet, I wanted socks that would keep my feet warm. These socks fit my feet like
