In general, the idea is excellent, but the spout does not work at all! No matter how many times you move the spout trying to line it up with the hole in the straw, you won't be able to drink from it. You cannot get a constant flow of water. After a day and a half of frustration, I actually spent $10 on another water bottle to replace the lid with this one.

Something broke on my cap and it won't close, so when I drink water I'm breathing air. When I drink, it's difficult because it's so big and the drinking mouthpiece is like that. It should be perfect and it's a bit awkward. To clean, you need a huge stick to get into this jar. Must be offered as a co-purchase item. I deducted a few stars because mine broke after the return deadline and didn't last.

At first sight I was delighted with it, it looks great, beautiful and all, but as soon as I took it with me on the go I felt the slightest movement, it leaked everywhere and the straw was difficult to use and quite difficult to drink (not a full, steady sip, sort of like bubbly). I will contact the seller to see if I received a lemon or maybe a defective one. I hope they can fix this situation because apart from the above issues I love it and the price is great!

I got my first bottle and all I could get was air through the straw. I've tried moving it back and forth to see if it's lined up correctly, but nothing. I sent it back for a replacement. I've found that if you aim the straw at a certain angle and press down on the mouthpiece while using it, it works. The top is not the best design. I had a defective straw that didn't seal the straw well enough for air to seep in. Even though the top had a better fit, the straw alignment could wear out over time and be less airtight, so I decided to go back. My daughter has one and I love that she doesn't have to refill her water bottle during the day. This bottle is perfect for those like me who forget to drink enough water throughout the day and then try to gulp it down later in the evening. This is not the best idea if you want undisturbed sleep. I wish the bottle had a slightly larger opening to make it easier to clean.
